MCI & Associates is a proudly locally owned and operated, team of accountants and advisors. Heading up the firm are Directors - Neil Ivamy, Esther Gleave (both Accounting Principals), Sean Stafford (Advisory Principal) and Heidi Morgans (Practice Manager), alongside experienced Principals - Simon Curran, Moira Paewai and Sam Ellingham, who are supported by some 50+ accounting and administration staff.

Heidi Morgans

Practice Manager

Heidi joined MCI & Associates in 2010 with the merger of MCI and John Bennett. Since joining MCI as a receptionist, Heidi has worked her way up the firm leading to promotion of Practice Manager in 2020. Heidi has spent the majority of her career in accountancy firms, including Beard Dodson & Co - one of the predecessor firms of MCI & Associates.


Heidi has always enjoyed working with people and helping others in her various roles. Heidi likes to be busy, and as the saying goes, if you want something done, ask a busy person! As Practice Manager, Heidi manages a large number of the team as well as ensuring the day-to-day practices run smoothly. One of the many things that Heidi likes about MCI, are the opportunities available to staff and the support shown by the Directors, proving that hard work does pay off.


When not at work, Heidi lives on a lifestyle block with her husband, teenage daughter and many happy pets! Heidi also has two adult sons and two grandsons that she loves spending time with; there's always something to keep her occupied!
